VBCC'S ROLLER JAR MILL

The VBCC Single or Multi-Deck Roller Jar Mill is an advanced milling solution designed for the efficient mixing and grinding of solid filler powders, producing homogenous ceramic precursor slurries. This versatile equipment can be used for both wet and dry grinding processes, making it ideal for a variety of applications in the ceramics, chemical, and materials science industries. The system is designed for continuous, unmanned operation for a minimum of 200 hours, ensuring smooth and reliable performance with minimal supervision.

Constructed with a sturdy M.S body and a neat powder coat finish, the roller jar mill features a two-tier arrangement that allows for the simultaneous operation of up to six jars. The rollers are coated with durable polyurethane, resistant to mechanical wear and chemical attack, and are easily adjustable to accommodate a variety of jar sizes, ranging from 2” to 10” in diameter. The rollers are mounted on lifetime lubricated and sealed ball bearing pillow blocks, ensuring long-term durability and smooth operation. The inclusion of roll guard covers enhances safety during use, and the design prevents any cross-contamination between sample batches.

The jar mill is powered by a robust motor operating at 415 V AC, 50 Hz, with a powerful roller chain drive system that utilizes sealed ball bearings for efficient performance. The speed can be varied from 30 to 300 rpm using a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), allowing for precise control over the grinding process. The jars, available in various materials such as stainless steel, porcelain, and zirconia, enable the milling of different substances, ensuring optimal particle size reduction. For ease of operation, the VBCC Roller Jar Mill is equipped with an advanced Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). The HMI features a 7” wide screen with TFT 65,536 colors and touch functionality, providing an intuitive interface for programming and monitoring the milling process. The PLC offers up to 8 programmable segments, allowing users to set detailed grinding schedules, including forward and reverse timing, to achieve the desired particle size reduction. Additional features include automatic timers, revolution counters, and safety indicators such as on/off switches and emergency buttons.
