SPALLING RESISTANCE – ASTM C1100

The VBCC Spalling Resistance Test Furnace is a specialized high-temperature testing system designed to evaluate the resistance of refractory materials to thermal shock and spalling under repeated heating and rapid cooling conditions. The system is suitable for conducting thermal shock resistance tests as per IS 1528 (Part 3) and related refractory testing standards.

The furnace incorporates a high-temperature MoSi? heating system, dual sample testing slots, insulated swing-aside front door, rapid water-quenching arrangement, and precision temperature control. Designed for refractory manufacturers, research laboratories, steel plants, cement industries, and quality assurance facilities, the system provides reliable assessment of refractory durability under severe thermal cycling conditions.
