DILATOMETER – ASTM C372

The VBCC Computerised Dilatometer (Premium Model) is a high-precision thermal expansion measurement system designed to determine the coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE), dimensional changes, shrinkage, and expansion characteristics of ceramic, refractory, glass, metallic, and advanced engineering materials under controlled heating conditions.

The system utilizes a high-temperature Silicon Carbide heated furnace combined with a precision LVDT-based displacement measurement system capable of micron-level resolution. Fully integrated LabVIEW® software provides automated temperature control, real-time expansion monitoring, thermal expansion curve generation, coefficient calculation, and comprehensive data reporting. The equipment is ideally suited for research laboratories, quality control departments, universities, ceramic industries, and advanced materials development centers.
