REFRACTORINESS UNDER LOAD (RUL) – ISO 1893

The VBCC Refractoriness Under Load (RUL) Test System is a high-temperature testing equipment designed to determine the deformation behavior of refractory materials subjected to a constant compressive load at elevated temperatures. The system evaluates the temperature at which refractories begin to soften and deform under load, providing critical information regarding their suitability for load-bearing applications in furnaces, kilns, reactors, and high-temperature process equipment.

The system combines a high-uniformity furnace, precision loading arrangement, dual thermocouple temperature measurement, high-resolution LVDT displacement monitoring, and advanced LabVIEW-based software for automated testing, real-time analysis, and report generation. It is suitable for refractory manufacturers, research laboratories, steel plants, cement industries, glass industries, and academic institutions.
