HOT MODULUS OF RUPTURE (HMOR) – ASTM C583

The VBCC Hot Modulus of Rupture (Hot MOR) Test System is a fully automated high-temperature mechanical testing system designed for determining the flexural strength of refractory materials under elevated temperature conditions. The system evaluates the load-bearing capability and structural integrity of refractory products at service temperatures up to 1400°C or 1600°C.

The system incorporates a high-temperature furnace, motorized loading mechanism, precision load measurement system, and PLC-HMI based automation for accurate and repeatable testing. Designed for research laboratories, refractory manufacturers, quality control facilities, and academic institutions, the Hot MOR system provides reliable determination of rupture load, flexural strength, and high-temperature mechanical performance of refractory materials.
