THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY – ASTM C1113

The VBCC Thermal Conductivity Test Bench is a high-precision laboratory system designed for determining the thermal conductivity of refractory, insulating, and ceramic materials using the Hot Cross Wire Method. The system is capable of performing measurements from room temperature up to 1400°C under controlled thermal conditions.

Equipped with Silicon Carbide (SiC) heating elements, a platinum hot wire sensor, and precision Keithley instrumentation, the system provides highly accurate thermal conductivity measurements with excellent repeatability. The fully automated LabVIEW®-based software enables real-time monitoring, data acquisition, analysis, report generation, and long-term data storage, making it ideal for research laboratories, quality assurance departments, refractory manufacturers, and academic institutions.
