DILATOMETER

The Dilatometer is a high-precision thermal analysis instrument designed to measure the dimensional changes of materials as a function of temperature and time. The system is capable of operating up to 1600°C and utilizes a highly accurate LVDT-based displacement measurement system with a resolution of up to 1 micron. It is ideally suited for determining thermal expansion, shrinkage, sintering behavior, and phase transformation characteristics of ceramics, refractories, glasses, and advanced materials. The furnace is mounted on precision linear rails for smooth movement and easy sample loading. Low thermal mass fiber insulation ensures rapid heating rates and excellent temperature stability. A programmable PID controller provides precise temperature profile control throughout the testing cycle. Dedicated software enables real-time graph generation, data acquisition, and analysis. The system is supplied with NABL calibration for measurement reliability and traceability. Its robust design ensures repeatable and accurate testing under laboratory and industrial conditions. The dilatometer is widely used in research laboratories, universities, quality control departments, and advanced materials development centers.
